In plain English: We collect only what we need to run RecruitHub. We never sell your data. Your payment data is handled by Razorpay — we never store card numbers. You can request deletion anytime.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, post a job, or use our services:
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, password (hashed)
- Employer Information: Company name, GST number, business address
- Consultant Information: KYC documents (Aadhaar/PAN), bank account details for payouts
- Candidate Information: Resume, work experience, skills, education, city/state
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, IP address, browser type
- Communication Data: Messages sent through the platform, invitation messages
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve RecruitHub services
- Process job postings, applications, and payments
- Send WhatsApp invitation links to candidates on behalf of consultants
- Verify KYC documents for consultant payout eligibility
- Process escrow deposits and release payments upon successful placements
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, offer letters, payment receipts)
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access
- Comply with legal obligations under Indian law
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:
- Between platform users: Employer sees consultant name and profile; consultant sees candidate name and phone (for invited candidates only); candidate sees job details and company name
- Payment processors: Razorpay processes payments. We share minimal data required for transaction processing
- KYC verification: Document data may be verified with government databases under DigiLocker framework
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority
- Business transfers: In case of merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred with notice
⚠️ We never share candidate phone numbers or personal details with employers directly. All communication goes through the platform.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- All passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we cannot see your password
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Database access restricted to authorized personnel only
- Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- OTP verification for sensitive actions (withdrawals, KYC)
Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password and enable remember-me only on personal devices.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies only:
- Session cookies: Keep you logged in during your session
- CSRF tokens: Protect against cross-site request forgery attacks
- Remember-me cookies: Persistent login (30 days) if you opt in
We do not use advertising cookies or share tracking data with third-party advertisers.
6. Your Rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act, 2023), you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data we hold
- Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete information via your profile settings
- Erasure: Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format

7. Payment Data
All payment processing is handled by Razorpay Software Pvt Ltd, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. RecruitHub does not store:
- Credit/debit card numbers
- CVV or expiry dates
- Net banking credentials
- UPI PINs
We only store the Razorpay transaction ID and payment status for reconciliation purposes. Bank account details provided for consultant withdrawals are stored encrypted and used solely for NEFT/IMPS transfers.
8. Children's Privacy
RecruitHub is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us immediately at privacy@hirethebest.online.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users via email 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of RecruitHub after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
